Stephanie is a Northwest based contemporary painter with a passion for nature, texture and beauty. A region known for its diverse and magnificent landscape, Stephanie focuses on painting scenes from her adventures exploring the mountains, oceans and plains that surround her.

Her love for creating art began as a child with pencil and charcoal drawings and progressed as she watched her grandma paint. Stephanie started painting with acrylics from her Vancouver, WA studio several years ago. After spending much of her adult life exploring several different creative career fields including, party planning, interior decorating and art consulting, She ultimately found that her heart belongs to painting.

In her current paintings she uses acrylics and mixed media applied to canvas with a combination of brush and palette knife. She loves the textures she can add to a painting with a palette knife. Using colors found in her surroundings, little metallic details and heartfelt expression through art, she shares a sense of hope with the viewer. Painting brings her peace and an opportunity to meditate on the beauty found in the world.
